Such Great Heights

"They won't see us waving from such great heights,
"Come down now," they'll say
But everything looks perfect from far away,

"Come down now," but we'll stay..."
- The Postal Service

Such Great Heights is an exploration to illustrate what we have been doing our entire lives, boxing things away in our hearts and minds. Whether it is a good memory or a bad event, we place these thoughts into little boxes, categorizing them in lieu of the day we need it again,

I created environments and scenes that would constantly feature a cube/square. To me, the cube represents the most basic form. A building block.

Compelled to fit together, we are so different but yet so similar.

I celebrate this normality that we share, because no matter how much we set ourselves apart, insist that we're special from each other, it should also be a comfort that we aren't all that different after all.
